Since 28th October 2013 the requirement have changed from ESOL (A1) (Entry level 1) level to ESOL (B1) (Entry level 3) level. If you have already passed ESOL at A1 level you have to sit for an ESOL B1 level (Entry level 3) again. The English Test UK offers Entry Level 3 / B1 CEFR Test at different locations within the UK.

While being a separate organisation from Trinity and the Trinity SELT centres, we are nonetheless able to offer preparation courses for Trinity SELT exams, approved by UKVI, to SELT for candidates applying for Further Leave to Remain (A2) and Indefinite Leave to Remain or British Citizenship (B1).  We are not connected to the running of the Trinity exam sessions.  Once you have booked your test we will provide you with study materials that will guide you on the format of the test.

 

You also need to take a ‘Life in the UK’ Test as part of your application. This is not a Trinity test. Visit the government Home Office website for more information about the Life in the UK Test.
