Education and Universities Ministers announce important updates

Today, Education and Universities Ministers from across the United Kingdom have written to those of you planning to start studies in the UK this Autumn and to make you aware of some important updates.

Universities are looking forward to welcoming you and are busy putting plans in place to make sure you benefit from a world-class education and enjoy an unforgettable UK student experience.

Despite COVID-19 disruptions, you will be able to apply for and receive, a Tier 4 visa before starting your studies in the UK.

A new graduate route will enable you to work or look for work in the UK, at any skill level, for two years after graduation.

The UK cares immensely about the health and wellbeing of all students and your safety is their number one priority. In addition to support from universities, National Health Services are available to both domestic and international students.

English Language & IELTS Preparation Online Programmes

UK Universities are aware that many applicants are unable to book the IELTS to secure the English Language test due to test centres being closed. Most schools and Universities have therefore moved English language programmes to online teaching and assessment to allow students to continue their studies remotely and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students.

The Occupational English Test (OET) is the English language test designed for healthcare professionals.

Student Cares Bureau now offers OET preparation classes designed to give you a clear understanding of the English in the medical field, and ultimately help you pass the OET test. Read more >

Junior Homestay Package

We are delighted to announce that we now able to arrange Junior Homestay Courses for students wishing to come the UK, experience local life and improve their English speaking and writing skills. The package included a mix of activity programmes and tuition. Homestay accommodation with a local family can be arranged along with all meals, transfers, local travel passes and daytrips. Junior Football and English Package

We are pleased to announce that for 13 to 17 year olds we are now able to offer a 2-week Junior Football and English tuition summer package in Newcastle. Activities include 30 hours of English tuition, 16 hours of professional coaching with Newcastle United coaches, a stadium tour of St James’ Park, home of Newcastle United, 1 match ticket (or a Saturday ticket if there is no Premier League fixture, local travel passes, excursions and evening classes, Homestay accommodation and transfers from Newcastle Airport. Student Care Bureau would like to remind students that when you request your project or essay to be proof read it would be helpful to provide as much information as you were provided with such as briefings and PowerPoint notes relating to the project or essay.
